  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Consider using pumpkin spice for variation.
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted Use melted coconut oil for dairy-free.

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk Adjust for thickness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Seal any gaps.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
  • Brush each triangle with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough.
  • Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end and tuck the ends slightly.
  • Place the crescent twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Glazing

  • In another bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm twists before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately after glazing for the best taste. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
