Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch bundt pan.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and additional cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle it over the batter.
Baking
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
