  • 4 sheets Nori sheets Essential for that sushi feel.
  • 1 cup Sushi rice Sticky short-grain rice for easy handling.
  • 10 oz Fresh salmon, cut into cubes Fish should be sushi-grade.
  • 1/4 cup Spicy mayo Mix mayonnaise with Sriracha to taste.
  • 1 medium Avocado, sliced Adds creaminess.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds Sprinkle before serving.
  • 2 oz Crispy salmon skin Provides a crunchy texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions and allow it to cool.
  • Cut nori sheets into squares and press them into a muffin tin to form cups.
  • Fill each nori cup with sushi rice and top with salmon cubes.

Cooking

  • Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with spicy mayo.
  • Top with slices of avocado, sesame seeds, and crispy salmon skin.

Serving

  • Serve warm as a delightful appetizer.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 2 days in an airtight container. Best when fresh, but can be frozen in a freezer-safe bag.
