  • 1 lb ground beef For a leaner option, substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Store-bought or homemade with spices like cumin and chili powder.
  • 8 pieces slider buns Any small sandwich bun; gluten-free options available.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend.
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Optional for serving.
  • 1/4 cup salsa Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and break apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and line the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  • Spread the cooked beef mixture over the bottom halves of the buns and top with shredded cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.

Serving

  • Slice the sliders and serve with toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.

Notes

For a fun experience, set up a slider bar with various toppings.
