  • 8 oz steak, sliced Quick-cooking cuts like flank steak or sirloin recommended.
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined Substitute with diced chicken or leave out for vegetarian option.
  • 4 oz noodles (e.g., rice noodles or egg noodles) Adjust noodle type based on preference.
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional) Can be substituted with hoisin sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. Rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
  • In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add bell pepper and broccoli to the pan, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.
  • Return steak and shrimp to the pan, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, and toss everything together.
  • Add cooked noodles and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For serving, consider pairing with a crisp white wine or light beer. Customize bowls with additional condiments or toppings.
