Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water Make sure it is boiling to activate the baking powder.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Pour in the whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  • Carefully pour the boiling water over the batter and stir gently.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Baking

  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
