Instructions
 

Preparation

  • If using frozen shrimp, be sure they are completely thawed and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with salt and pepper until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the unsalted butter and let it melt until bubbly but not browned.
  • Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
  • Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan in a single layer, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Once the shrimp are nearly cooked, pour in the fresh lemon juice, tossing gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  • Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Serve immediately over your choice of pasta or rice, with a side of crusty bread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze shrimp (without pasta) for up to 2 months, if possible.
