  • 2 cups cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled

  • 1 cup diced vegetables Like bell peppers, onions, or spinach.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the bread cubes, cooked meat, vegetables, and cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring everything is evenly covered.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, until the casserole is set and golden brown.
