  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Can be substituted with coconut oil for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added depth of flavor.
  • Chocolate chips (for topping, optional) Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate for a richer flavor.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Mix until smooth and well combined using a handheld mixer or a spatula.
  • Spread the mixture into a greased dish or mold, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press gently.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Can be frozen for longer storage.
