  • 2 pieces salmon fillets Substitutes can include trout or cod.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with light cream or coconut cream.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil) Dried herbs can be used if fresh is not available.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them.
  • Gently flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  • In a separate saucepan, combine heavy cream, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  • Once thickened, stir in fresh herbs for added flavor.

Serving

  • Plate the salmon, drizzle with the creamy Parmesan sauce, and garnish with additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
