Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil Can substitute with olive oil.
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Spicy Mayo

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Adjust to your spice preference.
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Roll the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • While the meatballs bake, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl to prepare the spicy mayo.
  • Once meatballs are cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with side dishes such as steamed rice and pair with drinks like iced green tea.
