  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Cheddar is recommended, but mozzarella, pepper jack, or gouda can be used.
  • 1/4 cup almond flour Coconut flour can be used, but adjust quantity.
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 ea egg (optional for binding) Can be skipped; use flax egg for vegan option.
  • 1 ea Cooking spray or parchment paper For lining the baking sheet.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the shredded cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until everything is well mixed.
  • If using, add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper until 1/8 inch thick.
  • Cut the rolled dough into small squares and place them onto your prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet before enjoying.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can freeze these crackers for up to three months, with layers of parchment paper to avoid sticking.
