For the Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes Use starchy potatoes like Russets or Yukon Golds for the best creamy texture.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season well for extra flavor.

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces crispy fried chicken breasts Substitute with grilled, baked, or shredded rotisserie chicken for variation.

For the Gravy

  • Layer crispy chicken on top of the mashed potatoes.
