Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based meat.
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs Can replace with crushed crackers or oats.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Nutritional yeast can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve the meatballs with marinara sauce for dipping or over spaghetti.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer and then transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
