Ingredients
  

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces Hawaiian Rolls You can substitute with any soft dinner rolls.
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Cooked Bacon or Sausage, chopped Feel free to use turkey bacon or veggie sausage as alternatives.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar is classic; consider mozzarella or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted Option to mix garlic powder for added flavor.
  • Mustard (optional, for brushing)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  • Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  • Layer the rolls with shredded cheese and chopped bacon or sausage. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top.
  • Replace the top halves of the rolls. Brush the tops with melted butter and add optional mustard.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

These sliders are make-ahead friendly! Prepare the night before and bake in the morning. They can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for up to 2 months.
