  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes Lean meat that marinates well.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Keeps chicken moist.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds acidity and brightness.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Herb for marinating.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) To grill the chicken.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Add cubed chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.

Cooking

  • Place skewers on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
  • Remove from the grill and let skewers rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding vegetables or using chicken thighs for more flavor. Serve with a dipping sauce for extra zest.
