Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour Provides a nutty flavor and moist texture.
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Unsweetened chocolate flavor; dark cocoa for deeper color.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Natural sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional; reserve some for topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
  • Add honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil (or butter), and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  • If using chocolate chips, gently fold them into the dough.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set around the edges but still soft in the center.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For variations, consider adding nut butter, mint extract, or spices to the dough for different flavors.
