  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Bone-in, skin-on preferred for flavor and tenderness.
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup white wine Can be substituted with chicken broth or lemon juice.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped Dried dill can substitute; use less.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning according to preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the white wine and fresh dill, and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them skin-side down in the skillet until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken, pour the garlic butter sauce over it, and transfer the skillet to the oven.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (73.9°C).
  • Serve with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies.

Notes

Garnish with fresh dill or parsley for presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
