Preparation

  • Slice the bananas into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
  • Spread a small amount of almond butter on one banana slice and top with another slice to make a sandwich.
  • Place the banana sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the banana sandwiches, and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  • Freeze for about 2-3 hours or until firm.
