Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter If you only have salted butter, omit the added salt.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar Brown sugar can be used for a chewier brownie, but will alter the flavor slightly.
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Sift to eliminate lumps.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder Choose high-quality cocoa powder for a deep chocolate flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Omit if using salted butter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Decoration

  • 1 tube green frosting For decoration.
  • 1 tube white frosting For decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt unsalted butter in a large bowl and mix in granulated sugar until fully combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.

Decoration

  • Once cool, use the green frosting to create a football field effect.
  • Use white frosting to draw football laces on the brownies.

Serving

  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Wrap individually for freezing.
