Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized pan over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
  • Add chicken breasts and fajita seasoning, mixing everything together; cook until chicken is fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  • Remove chicken from heat and let cool for a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.
  • Warm tortillas in a separate pan over low heat for about a minute on each side.

Assembly

  • Fill a warm tortilla with the chicken and vegetable mixture, ensuring not to overstuff.
  • Top with optional sour cream, salsa, cheese, and fresh cilantro.
  • Roll up the tortilla tightly and slice in half if desired.

Notes
