  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • red candy melts For the Santa hat color.
  • white candy melts For the brim and pom-pom.
  • mini marshmallows For the pom-pom on the hat.
  • chocolate chips or chocolate drizzle Optional for extra chocolate flavor.

Preparation

  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Add Rice Krispies cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until fully coated.
  • Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape it into cone-like forms to create Santa hats.

Decoration

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt red candy melts according to package instructions. Dip the tip of each cone into the melted candy.
  • Attach mini marshmallows to the tops as pom-poms and use white candy melts to create a brim look by drizzling around the base.
  • For added flavor, drizzle melted chocolate over the treats or specific areas.

Setting

  • Allow the treats to set until the candy melts have hardened, placing them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
