  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley Fresh is best for flavor.
  • 1 piece egg Acts as a binder.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Cooking Sauce

  • 2 cups marinara sauce Heat before adding for enhanced flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs in the slow cooker in a single layer without overcrowding.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are generously coated.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.
  • Once cooking is complete, serve the meatballs warm.

Notes

For later use, store meatballs in airtight containers for up to 4 days in refrigeration, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in microwave or stovetop, or for a crisp exterior, use the oven at 350°F.
