  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for smooth blending.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix Adds flavor; substitute with homemade if needed.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Adjust the amount if sauce is too thick.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Check seasoning after adding ranch mix.
  • Cooked rice for serving Pairs well with the creamy sauce.
  • Chopped parsley For garnish before serving.

Preparation

  • In a slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir gently to coat the chicken evenly in the creamy mixture.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken and sauce to taste.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until heated through.
  • Serve over hot, cooked rice, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

This dish is freezer-friendly and can be reheated. Avoid rushing the cooking time for tender chicken.
