  • 2 tablespoons Peanut butter (Natural creamy peanut butter) Substitute with sunflower seed butter for nut allergies.
  • 1 medium Banana (Ripe but firm) Ripe bananas provide the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Honey Optional, use for extra sweetness.
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds Optional, can substitute with flaxseeds.
  • 2 tablespoons Crushed nuts (Walnuts or almonds recommended) Toast lightly for enhanced flavor.

Preparation

  • Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy.
  • Spread the peanut butter evenly over the toasted bread.
  • Slice the banana into thin rounds.
  • Layer the banana slices on top of the peanut butter.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and chia seeds, and add the crushed nuts.

Notes

To avoid mushiness, do not overload on toppings. Best served fresh, but can store in the fridge for a couple of hours if needed.
