  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh or frozen, thawed completely if frozen.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Allows for control of saltiness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is best for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Dried parsley can be used in a pinch.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to broil.
  • Prepare the Lobster Tails: Cut the shells down the center using kitchen scissors, then gently pry the meat upwards.

Making the Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Stir in chopped parsley and lemon juice.

Cooking

  • Place lobster tails in a baking dish and brush with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster tails before serving.

Notes

Serve with chilled Chardonnay and sides like garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
