  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the shrimp.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 8 corn tortillas Warm them before serving.

Serving Garnishes

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in corn, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chipotle in adobo sauce and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas until soft and pliable.
  • Serve shrimp mixture in tortillas, topped with chopped cilantro and lime wedges.

Notes

Avoid overcooking shrimp to prevent a chewy texture. You can set up a taco bar for customized toppings.
