  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Using leftover rotisserie chicken can save time and add flavor.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Substitute with a homemade cream sauce or low-fat alternative for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can be replaced with plain Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed Can be switched out for gluten-free crackers.
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped celery, chopped onion, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter and stir until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days and also frozen before baking. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until heated through.
