Ingredients
  

Chicken Preparation

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Can substitute with turkey cutlets or grilled tofu.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing Lighten up with a yogurt-based option if preferred.

Assembly

  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 4 pieces ciabatta rolls Can substitute with any crusty roll.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Olive oil Brush on rolls before toasting.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge the chicken in breadcrumbs and place them on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded romaine, minced garlic, and Caesar dressing.
  • Slice the ciabatta rolls and lightly toast them.

Assembly

  • Assemble the sandwich by placing the baked chicken on the bottom half of the ciabatta, topping with the Caesar slaw, and then putting the top half of the roll on.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flair, serve on a wooden board and garnish with herbs or Parmesan cheese. To avoid sogginess, prepare salad just before serving.
