Ingredients

Wrap Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups cooked chicken, sliced or shredded You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika (sweet or smoked)
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt, to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch preferred) Feel free to use whole wheat or corn tortillas.
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1.5 cups shredded lettuce (romaine or iceberg) Fresh veggies enhance flavor and texture.
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 small red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1 handful fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
  • to taste butter or a light oil spray for toasting

Garlicky Sauce Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (or mayo for a richer taste)
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, very finely grated or minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (plus more to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1-2 tsp olive oil (optional) For added silkiness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and cooked chicken. Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir just until the chicken is hot and fragrant (1–2 minutes). Transfer to a bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil (if using). Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice as desired.

Building the Wraps

  • Lay out the tortillas. On each tortilla, spread 1–2 tablespoons of the sauce in the center, making sure to leave a border for folding. Layer with mozzarella, a sprinkle of cheddar, warm chicken, followed by lettuce, tomato, and onion. Drizzle a little more sauce on top and add any herbs if desired.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up, tucking everything snugly as you go.

Cooking

  • Wipe the skillet and set it to medium heat. Lightly butter or spray oil on the skillet. Place the wraps seam side down and toast for 1–2 minutes per side until the tortillas are golden and the cheese melts.
  • Slice diagonally and serve warm with extra sauce for dipping. Add a lemon wedge for a fresh pop of flavor!

Notes

If you have leftovers or want to prep for later, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or wrap tightly for freezing.
