  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles

Condiments and Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons mustard Feel free to remix your condiments.
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or turkey. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • In a large bowl, layer a generous amount of chopped lettuce as the base.
  • Spoon the cooked ground meat over the bed of lettuce, distributing it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the meat, letting it melt slightly from the residual heat.
  • Add diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and sliced pickles on top.
  • Drizzle with mustard and ketchup before serving.
