Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pounds Chicken breasts Boneless and skinless, can substitute with thighs for juiciness.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand or homemade, consider sugar-free for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 6 pieces Buns For serving; consider variety for dietary needs.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts flat at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, making sure to coat it well.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks in the pot.

Serving

  • Serve the shredded chicken on buns with additional toppings if desired.
