Ingredients
  

Chicken Preparation

  • 1 lb chicken tenders Can substitute chicken breast, sliced into strips.
  • 1 cup buttermilk Mix 1 cup of milk with 1 tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice if needed.
  • 1 cup flour Mix with salt and pepper for coating.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs For extra crunch; can substitute with regular breadcrumbs.

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with vegan mayonnaise.
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce Add more for sweetness if desired.
  • 1 tbsp sriracha Adjust to taste for spiciness.

Slider Assembly

  • 6 pieces slider buns Toast lightly for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat oil to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
  • In a bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the chicken in the flour mixture, then in buttermilk, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Fry the chicken tenders in hot oil until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Sauce Preparation

  • Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl for the Bang Bang sauce.

Assembling the Sliders

  • Place a fried chicken tender on each slider bun, drizzle with Bang Bang sauce, and add optional toppings.
  • Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the frying pan and check chicken doneness as it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
