  • 4 large eggs Necessary for the base of the dish.
  • 1 cup fresh spinach If fresh isn't available, frozen works too.
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese Substitutes like mozzarella or dairy-free cheese can be used.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease an 8-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, whisk together the cottage cheese and eggs until smooth.
  • Stir in sautéed spinach, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top and set in the center.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Letting the dish cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing enhances the flavors. Serve garnished with fresh herbs and a drizzle of hot sauce if desired.
