  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Customize to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Can substitute with minced fresh garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel and cut the carrots into uniform pieces, about 1 to 2 inches long.
  • In a bowl, toss the carrot pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until they are evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  • Before serving, garnish the baked carrots with chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Best reheated in the oven to retain texture.
