Preparation
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with the chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Form the meat mixture into roughly 4-6 oval patties.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, milk, and egg until well-mixed.
In a greased baking dish, spread the soaked bread evenly and layer the browned patties on top.
Pour the beef broth evenly over the entire dish.
Cover with foil and bake for about 45 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Can be frozen for 2-3 months.
