  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter For a dairy-free option, substitute with coconut oil or vegan butter.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar Adjust to taste if needed.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder Use dark cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted.
  • Stir in powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined to form a thick, fudge-like mixture.
  • Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate mixture in, spreading it evenly.
  • Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
  • Once firm, lift the chocolate slab out using the parchment paper and cut into squares or desired shapes.

Notes
